Today, members of Kitesociety.Dk have been on a minor kitefestival in a park close to Copenhagen, called Valbyparken. First rain, afterwards no wind. But from 14:00 on, we had a great day with lots of kites in the air and round about 100 kites finished on the workshop. Well done!

In April 2012 Copenhagen will host Europe’s largest and most important wind energy conference, EWEA 2012 Annual Event, which will take place in Bella Center. In connection with the conference, Copenhagen and the Capital City Region will be holding a public festival, Mindblowing Copenhagen.
Members of Kitesociety.Dk have been invited to show some kites.

Børneklub Krabat and Kitesociety.Dk invites you to an interesting and exciting kite day at Valbyparken, close to Copenhagen.

Second part of our open workshop from 5. February. Members of Kitesociety.Dk came together in Kgs. Lyngby and finished their kite projects right before the new season starts.

It is a tradition, that Kitesociety.Dk invite experienced kite designers to Copenhagen for a workshop once a year. This year, our club has been very lucky as one of the world top designers will come to us. Robert Brasington from Tasmania will stay in Copenhagen in Autumn and show us some of his brilliant work. Robert is well known for his great kites and fantastic design.

This weekend has been great for members of Kitesociety.Dk.

On Saturday, we came together at our favorite kitespot in Hillerød. The sun was shining, weak wind from northeast, -7 degrees and several kites up in the air. On Sunday, we met at an open workshop in Kgs. Lyngby, which meant that everybody could make what they liked.

Kite society.Dk wish you all a happy new year, and  a lot of new kites and many hours flying on the kite field. In tradition, members of kitesociety.dk came together last week to spend a couple of hours together.

The last kite festival of the year takes place on Fuerteventura. While we discover temperatures close to or under 0 degrees in Denmark, the island offers 25 degrees. Members of Kitesociety.Dk have been invited to this unique kite festival and spend a wonderful week in the south.
